Just a quick note about Padlet - aka Wallwisher. I've had my 7th gr SS students using it, and many other 3rd-8th grade students at my school are using it in a variety of subjects. Looking over Tom Barrett's crowd-sourced 32 Ways to use Wallwisher list, there are some phenomenal opportunities to use this (simple but powerful) tool in support of ELA Reading Anchor Standards, and more. It could be used to support the Craft and Structure anchor standard "Assess how point of view or purpose shapes the content and style of a text," or in Integration of Knowledge and Ideas "Integrate and evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively, as well as in words."
Perhaps best of all, Padlet/Wallwisher requires no log in - it generates a URL that multiple people can access. Or, you can log on if you have a Google account. Good stuff- check it out!
